Who Is Gena Rotas?

Gena Rotas
As an educator and a social worker, I have come to understand that when people are engaged in learning and having fun…the information sticks! I have taught children of all ages and spent many years teaching teachers through graduate programs across the country.

As a motivational speaker, I engage my audience to experience the youthful curiosity of a child’s heart and to find their own motivation to make things better.

I have conducted workshops on communication skills, stress reduction techniques and positive thinking for children, teachers, parents, administrators and community leaders. When working with either adults or children, I am able to create an atmosphere of fun and learning that keeps them asking for more.

Helping people to be the best they can possibly be has been my mission and my passion throughout my life. In my private practice as a psychotherapist, I am always willing to initiate the extra effort to encourage anyone I see to practice personal self growth and unconditional self love.

Over time, my motto has become a vehicle that creates joy: “If it isn’t any fun, find another way to do it”. Finding joy in whatever you are doing is a fundamental privilege to being happy. If you truly believe you are perfect, just the way you are, then you will come to enjoy the moments you are given.

I actually still have my costumes from my days as a professional clown and they help to remind me that life is a “hoot” and you are all along for a great ride.

Keep Breathing!
