Love the Stranger!
On my way to Budapest to visit my granddaughters, the flight was full and my seat was on an aisle.
I cooperated with some seat shuffling in order to accommodate an elderly couple who wanted to sit together.
Since I was willing to move, I found myself sitting next to a gentleman with a warm smile, an easy attitude and a delightful enthusiasm for life.
As total strangers, we took a risk and enjoyed interesting conversation, some laughter about the state of “things” and took the opportunity to share life-time stories.
My granddaughters would say, “we made friends”!
Is there a part of yourself that is a stranger to you? Perhaps a part of yourself that you have not paid much attention to or noticed.
Sometimes when you meet strangers, you can turn them into friends and as you learn more about yourself, you will take the risk of becoming your own best friend.
Be well and stay that way,
Gena
