Love the Colors
In New England, the season of color and change has begun to decorate the landscape. There is a rumor that the leaves in New Hampshire haven’t been this beautiful in forty years!
As trees in your world create that patchwork quilt of autumn delight, pay attention to your own preciousness and acknowledge your lovely self.
Think of turning your face to the sun and allow a moment of stillness to come over you. Drink in the spectacular beauty of what nature does effortlessly.
Stand in a place, any place, your yard, the park, the soccer field, the playground, the parking lot…it doesn’t matter where you stop for a moment; just stop!
As you quiet yourself and take a few breaths, turn yourself around……360 degrees. Do it slowly taking in the panaramic view of what is all around you.
Imagine a feeling of gratitude and appreciation. Have a sense of amazement for change. Stand for that moment in AWE and take a mental image of the colors to accompany you in the days ahead.
You are learning to love your inner self and your slim self. Each time you practice loving yourself, acknowledge your own importance, and experience a sense of awe for your brillance, you are moving yourself in a healthy direction.
You are the beauty of the season!
Be well and stay that way!
Love the day,

Love Showing Up!
This past week, there was an opportunity to attend an event two hours away in New Hampshire. Six of us gathered at 5:30 in the morning, in a parking lot near the route we had planned to take.
Even though it was just before sunrise, everyone was wide awake and brought their excitment, energy and enthusiasm. Since we were traveling together, in the same car, there was a delightful anticipation of also having some fun.
We “showed up” for each other. It was almost taken for granted that we came committed and prepared to help create a trip that would be positive and enjoyable. We had a blast!
Think about what it means to “show up” for yourself. What if you were to “show up” for yourself, all day, every day, and with excitment, energy and enthusiasm? What if “Showing Up” meant you were also going to have some fun?
Soften the inner voice in your head that might say:”I’m too tired”, “I don’t have the time”, “I’ll never make it work out”, “No one will notice”….BUT..You will notice!
“Show up” for yourself with passion, enthusiasm, and energy. Remind yourself that you count. Loving yourself is a way to support your motivation for your life to be better. It is a truth that we want life to be better…not perfect, just better.
You can share my new motto and enjoy the day! “If it isn’t any fun….find another way to do it”
Be well and stay that way,
Gena
